Siamo Napoli - S San Diego

The owner has history with other great Italian restaurants in San Diego. And now he has one to run as his own. He was helping out in the dining room. If you must have one meal, either go for the pizza OR have the Gnocchi special because, man is it freaking delicious. One of the best I?ve ever had. Our waiter was also the bartender who did a great job multitasking and he nearly looked like Bill Nye. His service was excellent.

If you haven't been here, you're missing out on one of the best Italian restaurants in SD . Surprisingly located in NP and not in Little Italy .We've been here several times and the food is always excellent. The specials pork shank was so tender that it falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. The other specials black ink spaghetti is one of my favorites. A variety of seafood is packed into it. My bf favorite dish is the gnocchi. He said it's the best he ever hadin his life. And their Naples style Pizza are always delicious. There's something special about their pizza dough. There's too many good dishes to list out in this review. The only negative feedback I've heard from our friends is thatthe cannenoli needed more beef and less cheese. And make room for dessert. Their Nutella cheesecake, Lemoncello, tiramisu are outstanding. Reservations is recommended as they very busy during Friday and Saturday nights.

Siamo is an absolute gem. I had the pleasure of visiting this past week, and I was so satisfied with my experience. I was dining solo and sat at the bar. The restaurant is beautiful with so much attention to detail. The bar is well stocked and clean and the dining room is giant and elegant. My server was fantastic and incredibly kind. I ordered the Contadina pizza. The quality of the pie was so above and beyond. It?s not hard to tell that Siamo pays attention to their doughrecipe and process. Great crunch and structure. The flavor was so well rounded. Just a lovely meal over all in such a cool atmosphere.

My family and I had dinner at Siamo Napoli to celebrate my birthday. We didn?t have any particular expectation for the place but were very pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the food turned out to be. Everything we ordered was delicious and the slice of birthday tiramisu cake they gave us was light and delicious. As there were four of us, the slice they gave us was really a very generous portion and for that, we were very impressed. Our server, Ernie, was a super friendlyand amiable guy, very attentive and accommodating. There was another man who brought our food to us, who was not friendly and slightly brusque, which somewhat brought the impression of the restaurant down. Nonetheless, Ernie and the bus boywell made up for his less-than-friendly nature. We will definitely return.

If there were 10 stars to give, this place would get 12! This was, by far, the single best pizza I have eaten. Coming from Europe, we had high expectations about authentic Italian food, especially advertised as Neapolitan pizza. Great service. Fantastic rosé. UNBEATABLE food. Real, handmade Limoncello?! This is the most authentic place you will find here. Try and fall in love with it! I want to move into this kitchen and never, ever leave. Thank you for the mostwonderful evening.
