Temari-zushi - S San Diego

One of my absolute favorites. Incredible food, friendly service, and a one of a kind cozy atmosphere and a great value. Don’t sleep on the non sushi dishes. I come here a minimum of once a week!

I would frequently come here and enjoy it. As of today I won’t be anymore. Service with the waiter was alittle awkward. He would serve me over and over as opposed to my partner even though they ordered their meal clearly, I also found a hair in my crunchy dragon roll and decided to not continue eating. Also one of my rolls went to another table and it showed up on my bill and I had to point out we never received that roll and to get it removed from the check. Honestly would’ve liked a refund for my 50 dollar check for all of these unfortunate happenings in a place I really used to love.

The place had a very weeb friendly ambiance. Comfortable! The temari sushi are also great! The seafood were fresh and tasty. I especially liked the otoro and uni nigiri. The uni nigiri particularly looks very fresh.The staff were very attentive and nice.5/5! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a good Japanese restaurant to eat at in San Diego!
