Feedback gevenThis was our second stay at Ermitage and we loved it even more! The staff is amazing and made our stay wonderful. Special thank you to Marc-André, Lorenzo, Salvatore, Momo and the waitress who brought me sparkling water at the bar (I couldn’t see her name tag unfortunately). We will definitely come back as Ermitage has a special place in our heart.
I was only a guest at the spa, but it was fantastic. When I went there were almost no other people there at all, which made the experience fantastic. The warm salt water pool was quite relaxing and had nice jets, the fresh water pool was nice as well, but not what I was there for. They had many different saunas to pick from, and all of them were extremely high end and luxurious. Obviously I do not have any images of the saunas as there are no phones allowed.
After having stayed several times at the Beatus Hotel in Merligen, I wanted to go to the Ermitage for a Day Spa. I really appreciated Barbara's welcome at the Wellness center and at the reception but especially the massage provided by Alexandra who was able to relieve my persistent pain. I will come back with pleasure
This week there were five of us eating as external guests. The placemats were badly wrinkled and the service was lousy. The employee was overwhelmed. It took a long time to order drinks. When ordering food, he had to ask several times, even though my husband and I had ordered salt-crusted fish in advance. The fish was not cut up properly and I had huge equipment that should have been visible. (This wasn't the first time we've eaten the fish at Ernitage) The employee simply left everyone's ordered fries at the free table next to them. We had to create it ourselves. We also had to wait a long time until the table was cleared. We then put it together ourselves. Some of it wasn't even cleared away. When pouring the wine, the employee poured it as if it were water and the whole table had red wine stains. He didn't apologize! It wasn't our first time in the Hermitage, but it would be our last for a long time. For a 5 star hotel we expect a different service. We are not demanding guests, but we have never had such lousy service! A pity.
Unfortunately I won't be traveling back because the restaurant service really requires a lot of patience and time to wait until someone pays attention to you.
