Eiscafe Cascata - Saarburg

Friendly staff. Unfortunately not much choice for children, but enough large ice cups. Prices acceptable.

Not only the ice is very great here, but also the ambience on site invites you to stay. A wide range of exceptional ice creams that also taste fantastic. Saarburg reminded us of Venice, the river between the restaurants and the Italians themselves on site. Definitely worth a stop on the trip!

Perfect location in the centre of Saarburg, plenty of choice, delicious ice cream which is nicely presented (just a bit higher priced). All in all, highly recommended for a stop on a warm or even not-so-warm day!

Well, the title says it all really. Situated in the lovely canal-side square surrounded by flower boxes full of blooms, a fountain tinkling away and the quite mummer of people enjoying their drinks and/or meals Eiscafe Cascata offers one of the largest selections of ice-creams, pancakes and cakes I've ever seen. We enjoyed our coffees, espresso, coke and ever so slightly sparkling water along with our cake, pancake and 2 ice-creams (mine was gloriously laced with alcohol) all served by a charming young man who delivered our order swiftly in spite of the very large number of people around (there was a local orchestra setting up outside the church who played some lovely music to accompany our delicious ices).Have to say..all together it scored me some huge points with the girl-friend; thanks Eiscafe Cascata.p.s the alcohol ice creams are heavenly

Just perfect... wonderful choice of ice cream flavours, to take away or eat in and out, other desserts and drinks too ... one couldnt ask for more.
