I am beyond excited everytime I am in the area and have the opportunity to have a meal here. I cant talk this place up enough! Please stop in and grab a bite
I used to come here much more often before I moved out of Saco. Stopped in for lunch on a whim on my way through today and it was just as delicious as I remember. The chorizo quesadilla was amazing! The garlic aioli was also delicious.
Love this place. One of the few places to get amazing coffee as well as a substantial meal. Their empanadas are amazing as well as their lunch plate I'm excited to try the sandwiches on a day I plan to do heavy cardio . The inside is super cute too. The only downside is that the bell on their front door is excessively noisy but if you sit in the back of the restaurant, it's much more manageable (I'm very sensory sensitive so it might not bother everyone).
Ordered take out and everything was delicious! The garlic aioli was delicious. Definitely a surprise to also see chips with the burrito we ordered! Definitely recommend the Patacon with carnitas!! The fried yucca was still delicious but probably better eat in than take out.
Quiero Cafe is my favorite lunch restaurant in the Saco area. I have tried everything on the menu, most items many times. They offer 12 different (fresh) empanadas. I suppose my favorite is the Cuban sandwich. Everything is very fresh and homemade. I was so happy to discover authentic South American food; in the US Latin American food Mexican (generally tex-Mex). Our first time visiting (three years ago) I was too cheap to get a limeade, but fortunately my wife got a mango limeade, now I get one every time. The coffee is also very good, not that burnt over-roasted flavor you get at some of those famous coffee chains.
