Great food! Just like the original by celestin! all six of us enjoyed our entrees and appetizers. our server was excellent. we're coming back!

Every meal meal at lunch and dinner is so delicious It’s the food that we go in for. I have never been disappointed. The prices are reasonable. Space is limited so you are packed in a bit. But that allows you to gaze at what others are eating!

Waiter seemed like a friend. Also reminded me of eating at a restaurant in Paris, where they allow you all the time you need to linger, and enjoy, and yet, seem perfectly ready when you need them.

When I reserved at Open Table's site I mentioned that this was an Anniversary dinner. Maybe the restaurant saw that and neglected to tell our server, or maybe the restaurant didn't see my notice, I don't know. When we arrived I mentioned that I had reserved, but there was no mention of anniversary. Towards the end of the meal when we mentioned it was our anniversary our waiter (superb service, by the way! brought us dessert on the house, a very nice gesture. We both had the special that night, which was the gumbo with Andouille sausage and crab. Did not see much crab, but maybe it was in little pieces. For starters we shared the pork grio, which didn't look like much when it arrived, just some chunks of meat, but wow! it was fabulous! I would return just for that! The bread is from Acme, unfortunately not available, I don't think, to the general public. It is delicious. Our waiter brought us some to take home. I gave only four stars for ambiance, because it seemed a little cramped, but great wall art! We will be returning.
