Run! A friend recommended this place to me, and I can confidently say it has become our favorite breakfast spot. Yolanda was fantastic, providing wonderful service. Aggie, the cook who has been here for 14 years, prepared our meals in no time at all. My daughter even declared that Aggie knows how to make a perfect medium-rare steak—the best she's ever had! Fresh coffee is served right at your table, and the menu offers vegan dishes as well. I highly recommend it! Just a heads up—there's parking available in the back.

The first time here and loved it. The food was delicious and loved the engraving. Coffee was lukewarm, but was replaced by hot on request. Portion was also big. Asked for eggs about medium and got eggs over medium. So many places can't do that right, but they have.

This restaurant was quite intriguing. While the exterior appears a bit old-fashioned, the interior is filled with eye-catching decor. They play a selection of oldies that I enjoy, and the cleanliness of the bathroom was a definite plus. I tried the Grandma’s French toast, which was absolutely delicious. The only reason I didn’t give it a perfect rating of 5 is because the bacon wasn’t very tasty. My partner ordered the biscuits and gravy, which he absolutely loved; he finished it so quickly that I didn't even have a chance to snap a picture!

Cricket Country cuisine is a family favorite and a Sacramento hidden gem. Every meal feels made at home and not only warms the stomach, but also the heart. The cookies and gravy are a must, but everything on the menu is amazing; You can't go wrong! The eclectic facility and friendly staff are the cherry above. We love cricket and are always looking forward to our next visit!

I had high expectations after reading the earlier reviews and my expectations were further bolstered when I saw the crowd of people trying to get in to eat. That?s about where my high expectations ended. I ordered your basic eggs and bacon and neither appeared freshly cooked and made to order. The bacon was thick cut but very old tasting like it had been sitting around in a bin or something and not cooked when I ordered and the same for the eggs. I have no intention on returning to see if it was just a bad day for them.
