The folks here are always nice and friendly. I order the California Rolls and they are great to enjoy as a meal itself if your eating alone or you want to have it to go. Highly recommended for taste, quality and freshness every time. They stay open until 9:00pm for your convenience. This is a small business who cares about their customers. Came here after seeing multiple raving reviews. After standing at the waiting area for 2 minutes being ignored by staff, finally a voice from behind a wall said “sit wherever”. While our order was being taken, waiter just walked off when he believed we were done ordering. Plates were never cleared from the table when we were done with each portion. Didn’t wait too long for food but when it came we immediately noticed it was all absolutely drenched in sauce. Rolls had very little flavor and sadly Safeway Sushi gave this a run for it’s money. Wasn’t busy inside but staff never checked in on us or asked us if we needed anything or refilled our waters. Salmon skin hand rolls were actually above par and the reason this review is getting one star. Had to flag down a staff member when we were ready for the check and when my card was brought back to me, it was sat down in front of the table without a word said. Sadly it was an awful experience where we began feeling a bit uneasy in our stomachs during our meal. Maybe they were having an off day and maybe our server was training but sadly it was not a good experience.Parking: Lots of it.

Food is mediocre got a spicy ninja roll (okay, very sweet), an avo cuke roll (okay), unagi (okay), seaweed salad (semi okay). Service was terrible. Had to ask for soy sauce for the table twice. They brought us the wrong roll and we're slow with bringing the right one. Had to remind them to bring the unagi. Worst, when the waitress (a young, dark haired woman) but down the boat with the sushi, she knocked my water glass over and all over my cell phone, barely apologized, and didn't bring me more water. I think they should've at least discounted the bill or something. What a mess.

I ordered miso soup, seaweed salad, pepper fin, and my girlfriend got a roll. Everything was good, pretty standard. Good service. I like the amount of green onions and tofu in the miso soup. The red fish egg garnish looks cool. Fish seemed fresh.The pepper fin is a little different than ones I’ve had before. The slices of fish were slightly cooked on the outside, and they were thicker pieces than I’m use to. There wasn’t Hamachi kama, (roasted tuna collar) That’s something I love to get at any sushi restaurant, so that was missed.
