This will be short and sweetHook & Ladder is our new favorite Sacramento restaurant.

I would rather give 5 stars because this is one of my favorite bars/restaurants.

I had plans to meet my brother and his friend for dinner and was looking for a place that was vegan friendly and also served alcohol.

Server was incredibly rude. I never asked if we need to refill drinks. I never asked if the food was okay. Ordered a medium-rare prime rib. It came out medium good. My husband's middle rib was much rarer than mine. Just an overall bad experience.

The food was great. We had the prawns and the chicken parm.
