We had a cute little robotic server rolling around, bringing us drinks we ordered via a touchscreen at our table. No need to flag down a waiter! The food plates were right there on the conveyor belt, so you could easily grab whatever tempted your taste buds. What's cool is that the empty plates magically slid into the wall, and the computer kept track of how much we'd devoured. When it was time to settle up, we used the touchscreen again, and I conveniently paid with Apple Pay. No fuss, no hassle. And the best part? The food was fresh and tasty. They even had a decent selection for folks with dairy restrictions like my girlfriend.Overall, it was a great experience, and I can't wait to go back for more sushi adventures at Kura. ???
First time dining at Kura. We struggled at first to grasp the order and service of the Willy Wonka style sushi ? bar. But we mastered the system. We tried many different dishes and were pleased with all of the selections.
The restaurant was very high-tech, with robots delivering the drink, a conveyer belt to get your orders quickly, and another conveyer belt with a variety of foods circulating. The plate count mechanic was cool as well.
This place was so much fun and the ingredients were actually fresh, which is something I never had at other sushi train places. And the ability to order what you want when there are just empty spaces is a amazing.
Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, one of the best sushi places here in Sacramento. This is my third day here! I love that it has so many varieties. I have tried all of the rolls, but my most favorite sushi rolls would have to be the Philadelphia roll, Tiger roll, Dragon roll, Popcorn Shrimp roll, and the Crunchy Roll. Overall, all the sushi’s were delicious! This is a great place to go to for a date or to meet with friends. It’s very unique and fun. I love the concept of the robot and conveyor belt. Kura revolving sushi bar never disappoints me. You can eat until heart desires or eat until it is just enough. Be aware most plates cost $3.50-$4.50 depending on the sushi rolls. My boyfriend and I ate up to 18 plates and it cost about $60. We were super stuffed, but it was totally worth the price for how much we ate. The plates are placed into a token dispenser, where you can earn a small prize up to you 15 plates. One of my favorite appetizers would have to be takoyaki it was super delicious! (But if you’re not a fan of seafood, it is not for you). The ramen was tasty and very aromatic. Meanwhile, the ice cream was creamy, smooth, and slightly sweet. It has vanilla ice cream on the bottom with a nicely battered hot fried fish dessert on top.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Options : Garlic fried rice, miso soup, Kappa Maki roll, Avocado hand roll, cucumber hand roll, harajuku summer salad, watermelon slices, edamame, and inari (fried tofu pockets with rice).Kid-friendliness: Some Kid option foods, appetizers, and desserts.Parking: Plenty of parking spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, handicap parkings available. Tables are accessible for wheelchairs
