River City Bagels Deli - Sacramento

The bagels are made in-house, which is great, but I found them to be just average.

I absolutely adore this hidden gem! My favorite bagel – garlic with garlic spread and bacon – feels like sunshine on a rainy day. The owners are incredibly sweet and always bring joy to the place. I've also tried the chicken salad and a few other dishes, and I’ve never been disappointed.

Delicious food, friendly staff, affordable prices, and conveniently located near my workplace.

My boyfriend and I were doing a Tahoe day trip and planned on stopping by a bagel place on the way there. we came across river city bagels and I am so glad we did! I got a cheese bagel with salmon lox spread I definitely think that was the softness and yummy tasting bagel I've ever had : the prices were really great as well! I hope to come back one day!!

Small little shop with tight parking primarily in the street. Found a spot and entered. Clean place and friendly people. Ordered a sesame bagel and breakfast burrito with sausage. Bagel was good. Toasted and plain cream cheese so hard to screw that up. Breakfast burrito was unfortunately awful. Potato's and vegetables were likely from frozen. Potato's were mush and vegetables were large and way to crisp. Sausage was Italian pellets with a strong Italian anise fennel flavor. Egg was not seasoned and the Salsa was thin and little flavor. 2 bites and the Burrito hit the waste bin. Sad face. Glad I got the bagel.
