Good music, but that's where it ends. I ate here with my son a few years ago and was throughly impressed, so I told my girlfriend that she was in for a serious treat. Guess i called that one wrong. Solomons has gone way downhill. Lipstick on my girlfriends glass of water. When we brought it to our waitresses' attention, we waited almost 30 minutes to get another glass of water. Seriously, it's water . Ordered French toast with fried chicken, broccolini side, and breakfast sandwich. Waited an hour for our food. Broccolini was undercooked. Food was subpar overall for the 70 something it cost. Staff appeared to be all college age students and weren't very welcoming and seemed stoned and annoyed to even be working at all. The only good thing is knowing that if this sort of performance is the norm, they're going to have to change to adapt before they go out of business.
Hi, a mix of good and bad. BUT, they killed me at the bottle of champagne for the mimosas $39 and that’s not cool (normally pay 18-25) fix that because it’s less service for staff if you give me a bottle so I can pour it and they can work on other guests. They were slow with us and served a couple that got there after us.I had the Japanese Omelette, very tasty and unique. I’d give it a 4 plus IF they remove the fishy bonito flakes. I get trying to be authentic, but the fishy smell is the last thing you want in the morning with your mimosas or any drink at that. My friends had the basic and they said that the bacon wasn’t that good. They also had the chicken sandwich and they really liked the chicken.The winner was the “Como la flor” drink!That was Richard flavor potent ! I will be back. And I will adjust that star level if they meet my expectations
Came in and host said we didn't have a reservation. After speaking with manager , the manager said they lost power so our reservation never went through. We booked an inside reservation but they could only sit us on patio and there was an hour wait to sit inside despite our reservation being made. We ordered bottomless mimosas and it was brought out in a plastic beer pitcher. This is a big no. As a bubbles and champagne drinker, this is suppose to be served on an ice bucket, especially on a hot day. The pastrami was good, the biscuits were good, but had a taste of burnt skillet like the gravy had burned at the bottom of the pan from sitting too long. The service was good and friendly and the music was pretty dope.
I really love this quirky place! They actually have live DJs playing records upstairs, even during lunchtime on Saturdays! The food is delicious!
