No, where on the menu description there were sugar as an ingredient. I couldn't taste anything from the herbs in Tom Yum. I couldn't agree with another reviewer who said the food was Bland because it really is Bland. I gave this place an attempt because of the other reviews, but quickly realized that this was not the place for me. This could be a good fit for someone who doesn't like too much spice and prefers mild herbs/spice.
I got to this place since it was my first time at Sacramento and my family and I were craving Pad See Ew. The waiter was very rude after I asked him if I could just get any noodles with egg by themselves since my sister is very picky. He treated me rudely and rolled his eyes and gave me a mean stare when I was letting him know because my little sister is very picky. Me and my partner love Thai food and it was my sister?s first time trying Thai food but she just wanted noodles. We just felt unwelcome after ordering and the way he was talking and sighing while taking our order. Considering no one was there, I would think they would be very welcoming and just nice. I left after that (before food came) since we didn?t want to tip someone who was not kind.
Spicy basil Lamb, Pad Thai, Pineapple fried rice with chicken. Taste of Thai does not disappoint with the dishes, flavor and spice. Everything was delicious and I recommend paying a visit. Family style portions! Bring a friend or fam!
1. If your black or brown, you will automatically get the Racists Energy Then when you order Thai fried rice, you have 3 pieces of small chicken, rarely all rice. All in all, this is the worst thai experience I have ever had in my life. I'll never eat here again, I felt like I was robbed and the energy was restless.
Daughters like the restaurant, as one of their favorites. The food often tastes as if vegetables are fresh to stay crispy. Keeps it original color through this technique. The price is almost average... but the portions of meat and vegetables are small, based on the dishes we ordered: one with small cut chicken; another with deep roasted tofu; and a two-fished dish. Fish dish is a favorite of me. Description of our food. A dish was buried with white onions. Two dishes were sprinkled with red or green paprika, just a few thin strips. I love vegetables... not much change in these dishes. Plus page was delicious sauce. That's good if you like a lot of sauce. Rice came with the ordered dishes, very small amount compared to other Asian restaurants. Presentation of food is beautiful and simple. One aspect, not sure whether they are dishes we order, they are loaded with either a lot of sugar or monosodium glutamate that offers a addictive sweet taste. (With my restriction on sugar, I am conscience of the amount of sweetness in food. Even the soup was loaded with sweet and acidic ingredients. Husband didn't like it. I drank it... yes, because it was sweet! It's good for my body, probably not. I asked the vegetables against Tofu. I asked what kind of vegetables were in the soup. He mentioned some that I could not understand clearly. It turned out...small pieces made it easy to eat: boiled broccoli; cut carrots; canned small corn; thin cut green asian vegetables; and green onion. I look forward to a different variety and more along the line of green Asian vegetables. It is a court that I will definitely not order again. The server was the only person available to take orders, gave us glasses of water and stack of dishes (we went to the family members and delivered the food. He was mild and always in a hurry to ensure that all customers were visited. Although he was the only person, our waiting period was average before we got our meal. We eat in this restaurant because daughters like it.
