This place was great and the food was awesome! Just a couple heads up: The club sandwich is really a turkey sandwich. It isn't a traditional triple decker cut in fourths but was still great. It's also fairly self serve, they'll bring the food out but beyond that you are on your own. Condiments can be found in the condiment bar next to where you order. Neither of these things are necessarily negative though! The staff is awesome, the food is great, and it has a really nice laid back atmosphere.
Never had a bad meal here. Staff very friendly. Patio is awesome. Good beer selection.
During my visit a few weeks ago, I was confronted rather abruptly for not wearing a mask. A tall man emerged from the kitchen and, with a sharp and whiny tone, rudely shouted, "Mask! Sir, mask!" This disrespectful command took me by surprise. There was no polite request; just a harsh order from someone I later found out was the manager of the Main Event Bar and Grill. It was clear that he was unhappy in his role, and his negative demeanor was unlike anything I’ve encountered within ten miles of a respectable golf club. I even informed the head pro, Asa, about his behavior. I cannot recommend interacting with this man at the Main Event Bar and Grill. His impatience, rudeness, and blatant disrespect—both towards me and others—were truly off-putting. Two thumbs down. It’s obvious that he is not content, but there’s no reason to take it out on customers.
Even if you're not a golfer, this spot is definitely worth a visit. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is excellent, and occasionally, you can enjoy some amazing live music!
