Owl's Nest - Saegertown

I had the big wings and fries, and I must say, I couldn't try anything else because I was so satisfied with the wings. However, I've heard that the rest of the menu is fantastic as well!

The atmosphere at Hitchy's Tavern is pleasant, but I consistently find the beer to be warm. I would love to spend more time there enjoying drinks, but I prefer my beer chilled. I considered switching to wine since the beer isn't cold, but unfortunately, their only option is boxed wine. Please, could you lower the cooler temperature? Thank you!

Initially, I ordered a fish sandwich priced at $11.99, which I found to be quite expensive. I was informed that the sandwich and the dinner were the same price, but I preferred to take my sandwich to go, and I was assured that wouldn't be an issue. However, the wait time was quite long. When I finally got to eat my sandwich, I discovered it was actually a dinner without any rolls. Even if it was intended as a dinner, it should have included rolls or bread, and a sandwich should come on a bun.

I visited this dive bar after a kayaking trip, and I was pleasantly surprised. It turned out to be a great spot with a selection of craft beers—only $1.50 for a Blue Lagoon White IPA in a can! The food was amazing, with really good burgers and chicken tenders. The fresh-cut fries were some of the best I've ever had—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. While it's not a fancy place, it definitely exceeds the average for drinks and food. Our kayaking group plans to return soon!

If youre from new york, good luck getting in. my boyfriend and I just wanted a beer and some dinner and the guy looked at our ids for a minute and said sorry guys these are floppy i cant take them. What the heck!!!!
