Cavaniola's offers excellent cheese, but my experience with the woman who assisted me was quite disappointing. I specifically requested Manchego cheese, yet she proceeded to cut the Secret de Compostelle cheese along with the other cheeses I had ordered. She made the decision to substitute cheeses without consulting me first. Just because one cheese tastes good and is somewhat similar doesn’t mean they are the same. She should have confirmed with me before making any substitutions. If I hadn’t been in a hurry for a party for my boss, I would have walked out. It felt like she didn’t care about customer service, and I got the impression that she might also have some biased views.

The salad was beautifully presented and featured marinated Australian feta cheese from Cavaniola, which I absolutely love—both the cheese and the store. However, I had to source the Bresaola from another place. Please bring back the Bresaola!

I left this great store in Amagansett. Generous cheese samples and an extremely friendly staff make this shop a must. The cheese was delicious and we have some chorizo and local craft beer. I can't wait to come back.

I love this place. Great service, delicious cheese and competent staff. Love the opportunity to try all cheese before buying.

I'll start by saying the cheese I purchased was delicious, however the woman who was assisting me was awful. She was as nasty as can be and completely lost her patience with me very quickly. i have never been treated that poorly by any shop anywhere before. She should not be dealing with the public. I was unsure of what I wanted, there are so many types of cheeses so I was asking questions- I would Completely admit if I was annoying but i don't think I warranted her treatment.
