Instead of shrimp, they put meat in it with a ton of bean sprouts. My mom didn't want to go back to have them make it right with shrimp because she was afraid she had to wait for another 30 minutes! $15 for a small Banh Xeo and barely any veggies. Dipping sauce was super bland. I don't know how this place get 4 stars. The 5 reviews for the 4 stars must be from their family members. Save yourself the grief' and go to Banh Xeo Ngon if you want to eat Banh Xeo.
Located in the Lion Plaza Food Court this is the only real vegetarian option for patrons. Other places do have Veg options, but none with a selection as large as Khanh Phuong. However, they are *not* vegetarian only dining,as I was a bit disapointed to see that they have added a whole slew of meat-centric dishes to their menu on my last visit that wasn 't there on their previous visit. Kind of a bummer, but they need to do what they need to do, I suppose. I 've tried their veggie bun bo Hue and Veggie curry and both soups were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the veggie BBH for its rich mushroom base and the veggie curry had a nice coconutty flavor. Make sure to get a Chinese donut $1.25) to go with the veggie curry for dunking. Overall, great spot for Veg-heads and is highly recommended by yours truly. Please note that they do remain Cash Only, but hopefully that will change as more and more of the Food Court residents are starting to accept CCs.
The woman working the stall was very rude to me. Customer service is nonexsistant here. Deep fried egg rolls I ordered were pouring out oil. When I asked her for extra sauce she hassled me and wouldn’t give me any. Very rude and lazy.
There are many good dishes here. The owner is very friendly and accommodating.
