Resident Taco - Sahibabad

Looks promising but terrible service. Called 20 min after when I got a text saying order was ready. Called the server who got frustrated with calls saying the more we call, the longer it’ll be. Waited about 40 min for a pick up. May be good when fully open but DoNot order for pick up.

I can NOT believe this place only has a 4 star rating! This place is amazing. We ordered the veggie tacos and the birria quesadilla. I was a little skeptical of how good their birria would be. Thankfully, I was joyfully surprised with the flavor. We also ordered the elote, churro donuts and two drinks. ALL DELICIOUS. We use Postmates to order the food and now we cannot wait to try it in person

Over priced for what you get. Food was not good whatsoever. We ordered the beef ramen, beef tacos, fries, chips, and churro donuts. Only edible food was the beef quesadilla. Boxes and bags it came in make you believe you're in for a treat! Would never eat here again.

I am a huge lover of barbacoa and resident taco did not disappoint! I was very much hungry but totally went over board on ordering but I will say everything was tasty! I ordered their special of two entrees with sides and two free drinks. I had the barbacoa ramen noodles with chips/salsa and the barbacoa quesadilla with fries. Both were increíble! Huge portion of quesadillas and the broth with noodles was so flavorful. The fries were incredibly crunchy and tasty as well. I will definitely say my favorite was the CORN, it was to die for! Nicely covered in Mayo, cheese and spice with a few sides of burnt. I wanted so much more corn. The last two things I ordered were the watermelon with chamoy, which was good but had too much chamoy in it. Wish it would have been a light drizzle and more so covered in Tajín but was still yummy regardless. Lastly but not least the churro donuts were everything I needed. Warm, fresh and doughy. Drizzled in cinnamon it was the perfect desert. The food was ready in no time and the people were very nice. If ever in San José, I highly recommend you order from them!

I was very excited to order from this place based on all the awesome reviews. Pros: The tacos and sopas were so fire!!! The beef is incredibly soft and flavorful. The sauce is decent, the spice is about medium. This is why I'm giving 2 stars Cons: The elote was inedible, I bit into rotten corn and I was so sad that I actually had it in my mouth and had chewed it before I realized it was like that. I also ordered beans on the side and for some odd reason they did not taste like the beans in the sopes so that was a bit of a disappointment. I would order the sopes and tacos again and probably steer clear of the corn and beans.
