Aire de la Baie de Somme

This 'aire' is extremely well situated between Calais and Rouen. Easy access, plenty of parking spaces and even a view to enjoy. One can eat out by the water, ,park up a caravan or motor home overnight and be served by several food outlets, plentiful toilets and a shop. To be recommended.

Depuis que c'est le SRATO le choix s'est amenuisé et les entrées sont "STRATOSPHERIQUEMENT" cher pour la quantité présente dans l'assiette.Les pizzas sont passables.

We have been stopping here for years - it is only an hour's drive from Calais - and used to look forward to the home-made quiches and the local cuisine such as the home-cooked potato, ham & cream pie. For some extraordinary reason this has been replaced with an Italian themed cafeteria offering an unappealing choice of dishes. The cannelloni that I tried was bland and unpleasant. I will plan to avoid the place in future - what a shame!

We've been using this services for years, it has never changed, toilet are always clean, they have a bay changing area, and coffee is good.Breakfast are good, but a bit pricey.The tower is worth a look if you have been before, with good views from the top.It is a safe place to stay the night if you are in a caravan /motorhome we have stayed here a couple of times, but only in the car park at the top, as they didn't have any lighting at the bottom.There is a nice little play area for children and off course the ducks and fish.A nice place to stop and stretch the legs.It does get very Full in the summer holidays !!!

De passage assez fréquemment sur cette aire de la baie de la somme Je découvre le nouveau self stratto en juin 2017 . C'est horrible ! pas de choix . plats de mauvaise qualité . En accompagnement de mon cordon bleu j'ai pris des pommes de terre rissolées . J'ai eu l'impression de manger des pommes de terres réchauffées depuis trois jours .La qualité de ce self se dégrade au fur et à mesure des nouvelles enseignes . Je pense ne plus m'arreter sur cette aire d'autoroute .Dommage car c'est une aire très agréable .
