Feedback gevenAlthough we really enjoyed dining in this beautiful place, outside, next to the pool, the quality of food served was really poor... We had the 38€ menu, in which you can choose from 3 different dishes in every course. I startef off with the carpaccio, which was really distasteful because the slices were way too thick, but most of all: the meat had a brownish colour and there was hardly any seasoning (no olive oil, salt nor pepper . Rather disappointed, I switched plates with my husband halfway the course, to have a taste of his 'shrimp sushi '. Dry, hardly any shrimps and again: almost no seasoning... After this disappointing starter, we kept hoping for better to come. We both took the risotto with peas and emmenthal, which turned out to be a rice pudding with cheese and lots of peas thrown into. Next to the 'hump ' of risotto, there were some chopped tomates and a cheesecookie... The taste wasn 't bad, but please, this is no 'gastronomic ' food, as advertised. Finally, I choose a lemon merengue as dessert, which tasted really good. Probably the cook is more of a patissier than a gourmand cook ; On the other hand, my husband choose the cheese plate for dessert and got 5 really tiny pieces of cheese. Tiny would have been ok, if we hadn 't had to pay 5€ extra for this dessert! 43€ for this menu is absolutely not worth it! If you aren 't too fussy or don 't have expectations too high, this restaurant might do fine, but we were really not happy with it. Fortunately, we did enjoy the nice wine and the eating outdoors.
The meal was chosen for you, which is fine ,so long as you check the menu...both meals were delightful and beautifully served.
Dirty and aging. park and swimming pool not maintained. charming staff but nothing really exceptional. The castle requires a real rehabilitation..., the Dukes of never must return to their graves
No rosé to offer and no pepper mill, badly gone, pleasant entrance, beef in 3 presentations then: the not interesting nem, the beef in too dry sauce and the little paved without sauce...we the very good trout, dessert the chocolate declination without a gustative reward while the lemon pie revisited very well; average rsultat
Our dinner was a good time. By the quality of the plate, the care brought to the presentation of the dishes and the delicious mix proposed of flavors.By the professionalism of our server - sommelier, david, thanks to whom we shared a beautiful evening. He has been very attentive to us and has shared his love of local products and producers and his great knowledge of the wines of the region. We trusted him in the choice of dishes, cheeses and wine. and everything was delicious. Discovering the subtle aromas of a bottle of givry. Excellent! Thanks david. we will return to a next visit to the circuit of magne cours ! françois and bea
