On entering the waiter by the door completely ignored us and we received a curt response from manager there. Was taken to very depressing downstairs dining room where it seemed other unfortunate tourists were seated. Waitress did not utter one word, either in French or English during whole service, despite our endeavouring to order in French – she was just unfriendly. Cocktails were awful, the Cosmo bearing no resemblance to the real thing, served in huge tumbler with mostly ice and juice – tasted of nothing. Mussels were just OK, sauce of Madras Curry version pretty watery and bland and the mussels were a poor version of what we might cook at home, and certainly not cleaned very well. We thought fries were bottomless, but despite two of our party finishing theirs, no mention was made of this, or any attempt made to bring more, so we assumed we had misunderstood the translation! Fries were actually very under seasoned, but again no offer of any condiments were made, and the attitude of the waitress did not encourage us to ask, as we were pretty sure we’d receive a very unresponsive reaction. Had absolutely no confidence that desserts would be anything better than something we could buy from a supermarket and decided to cut our losses and leave after our main courses, but not before we had to query the discount, we were entitled to due to booking on the Fork. Bad in every way.
We ate very well in this restaurant. First of all, the personnel is very very kind and always caring of clients. We tried fried fish, mussels, shrimps, burger, and the great sweets. Prices are decent, compared to the crazy average of Paris. Recommended to families as there is space between the tables, unlike most of the restaurants in Paris.
Fair variety of dishes. Good food reasonably priced. Pleasant staff. Tables not rammed together as in some better class establishments.
We have prices of big leon coconut (fry cream) so around euro the dish. I didn't find it exceptional, I even think it's better at home. mussels seemed too cooked with different colors. The waffle is very good, just like wine (drying). Anyway, I found that the price quality report was not terrible.
I would really like to be able to serve a table after because I love it and I would be good so I should not forget that I had my bachelor's degree and that I did a lot of internship I want to do a clerk but do a table service too here
