Caribbean Soule - Saint Augustine

The food was absolutely delicious. My family ordered the oxtails, curried goat, jerked pork, fried chicken and barbecue chicken. Everything tasted great, I was so impressed and my kids couldn’t stop talking about the barbecue chicken. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. We will visit again.Parking: Plenty of free parking available.

Big heads up If youre white, don't have dark skin or are white passing you will be judged and talked to like you're dumb and don't know what you're talking about! I was very polite and respectful but The lady up at the front was very disrespectful and made multiple racial comments about me to my face! I love supporting small businesses but I can guarantee you, me and my family will never go back here again! I feel very disrespected and very much so unwanted there.. terrible way to run a business! Do better!

A small restaurant with big flavor. I had the curry chicken and rice. It was lovely. Talk about comfort food, tastes home-cooked! I look forward to coming back and trying some other items on the menu. Check them out!

This was my first time going to Caribbean Soule Restaurant. I 'm always on a search for good Jamaican food being that I 'm from Jamaica. Now on to the review. Upon entering the establishment the vibe was there so I immediately got excited. The place was empty, just my wife and I and the two people that I assumed worked there. The person behind the counter handed us a menu. my wife and I glanced over the menu real quick because we already knew what we wanted. my wife asked for soup and I got jerk chicken, rice and peas, plantain. Those are the foods we use to see if a Jamaican/ Caribbean spot is going to be good. The soup was delicious I would get it again. the Jerk chicken was not jerk chicken, it was baked chicken with jerk sauce on top. it had ok favor. Now the rice and peas was ok but it was dry. on top of that I didn 't get a Jamaica style serving (all Jamaicans know what I 'm talking about). price didn 't match the light weight food (add more food or cute price). Wait time wasn 't to bad. Customer service was great. I will be back to try it again.

I had the fried fish (Escoveitch). Quite frankly I was not impressed, (it was a small fried fish, with a big fish price tag on it) The flavor of the sauce over the fried fish was unique, i?m not saying it was bad but at the same time I would not have it again. (maybe it?s an acquired taste). The fried okra and corn bread we?re OK. When it comes to the attention and service, I have nothing bad nor outstanding to say about it.
