Vette's Restaurant Bar - Saint Charles

The service at this restaurant was terrible. Our orders were incorrect and the waitress was rude, telling us she was only one person. We waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes, with no drink refills and the waitress even argued with us about our orders. The food was served in multiple rounds, with the second round coming out 15 minutes after the first and being cold and overcooked. The waitress even put her hand on my shoulder, and when I asked her to remove it, she responded sarcastically. We had to ask for drinks multiple times, and even had to go to the bar to ask for water because the waitress claimed she had already brought us drinks over an hour ago. Unless you have plenty of time to spare for lunch, I would not recommend wasting your time here. The food was nothing special, with the loaded fries having a minimal amount of cheese on them.

This was our first visit to this restaurant, traveling from Springfield. The automobile-themed atmosphere was very clean and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The server who attended to us was delightful and assisted us throughout our meal. We could hear her happily singing along to some of the songs playing. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely make a point to stop by again on our next journey through. 10 out of 10 stars!

Very grateful for the dinner for our teens btwn ball games. slightly helped table from 12 on a slow Sunday. super friendly and well made bar eating. better than the chains.
