After one and a half years living in this little rural village, I learned that there was a restaurant serving typical Réunion Island food just down main street. Yeah, I know... but it 's better late than never, right? And in this case, I have to say: WOW! The owner is the chef and he assures the service with his 17 year old son. They are both extremely nice, polite, welcoming and you can feel they enjoy what they do and are proud of their origins (and so they should! . As starters we chose beef samosas and a mixed platter... but we realized it was a mistake. Not that they were not good, no; on the contrary. The issue was, as main course we chose the at will buffet, where we had five dishes to choose from or eat from as much as we wanted... and we couldn 't eat much anymore! All five dishes proposed were extremely good and the chili sauce was great so, we will definitely be going back! :D

A warm welcome and cuisine as the meetingers know, the good flavors from there with sausage carris, fish, pork and beef with different levels of chili, but all without excess. a great family atmosphere and a cook who takes the time to explain to all his customers what is in these dishes, plus the little rum of departure offered. a redo!!!

In the middle of a village of the Bievre in isere, we find this restaurant that offers without chichi a cuisine with flavors of the island of the meeting. What a good surprise.! held by the father and the 17-year-old son (possessing a sense of the evidant welcome), this small piece of restaurant offers formulas with a volonte buffet (16.90 euros for 5 different dishes to choose from and has volonte plus accompaniment in rice and red beans) with extraordinary flavors....the chef also offers his most courageous customers! prices are unbeatable and the guaranteed culinary depayement! If you pass through st etienne de st geoirs, this epoch is mandatory. agreable frame but limited places, you will have to reserve to play caution if you are passing. great atmosphere and service more than friendly. a try without hesitation, and without moderation.
