Punj-abi - Saint George's

From start to finish, the customer service was outstanding. Even though it wasn't a busy evening, the attention to detail was impressive. Our waitress frequently checked in on us to make sure everything was satisfactory. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions with ease. The ambiance felt authentic, and we really enjoyed the background music that evoked a sense of being in India. The decor and lighting were perfectly done, enhancing the overall experience. Of course, the highlight for us was the food. We were served 100% authentic, traditional Punjabi dishes. The flavors and textures were incredible, and we couldn’t get enough of the paneer. This restaurant has quickly become one of our favorite dining spots, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic meal.

The restaurant offers authentic Indian cuisine and excellent customer service, along with delicious cocktails and a pleasant ambiance. The male server was very attentive and well-trained at first. However, as we returned for subsequent visits, he seemed to become more relaxed around us, leading to a decline in attentiveness and courtesy compared to our initial experiences. It's important to maintain professionalism and not become too comfortable, as patrons should never be taken for granted. When the food is priced at a premium, we expect impeccable customer service every time.

This was, without a doubt, the worst meal I’ve had on the island. I was extremely disappointed with the service, food, and overall atmosphere. There were a lot of bugs, which was unpleasant. I was the only customer in the restaurant, but the service was still slow and felt insincere. I ordered the lamb Rogan Josh, expecting something flavorful, but it turned out to be just ketchup with overly fatty and tough meat. When I asked for something to enhance the taste and heat, they brought me frozen peppers and said it was typical for them to do it that way in India. That hasn’t been my experience during my many visits to India. I would recommend staying away from this place. A better option is Spice Affair. While their menu might not be as extensive, it certainly offers much better choices.

Oh my goodness! Best up-scale indian restaurant on the island. Kind of hard to find the road that leads to the front of the restaurant but you can see the sign from the main road near the airport. Atmosphere is lovely and (almost) no mosquitos even though it is all outdoor seating. The Kadai Chicken was amazing and the samosa starter tastes delicious and authentic. Definitely planning to go again for another date night here!
