Feedback gevenCasual brasserie close to the Château of Saint Germain en Laye. Fresh food at decent prices, pleasant service. Kitchen open throughout the day. My Amnesia salad was good, an other main of steamed salmon quite good.
Standard bistro dishes of course but the salad special of parma ham, two types of melon and fruit was definitely a fraicheur on a hot day. Toasted open sandwich was delicious and so was the croque monsieur served with first class chips! Very close to the bus and RER stations. Excellent service
I had dinner there and was impressed by both the food and the service. I chose the Terrine de Campagne for starter and then Escalope a la Normande (turkey) for main course. I was impressed by both and didn’t have room for dessert. Even if only coming for a day trip from Paris, I would recommend having lunch or dinner here. It is a short walk from the RER station and it was nice to look out onto the chateau.
I ate there one Sunday evening with my wife and son. Attentive service, and good simple bistro fare. All the dishes we had (magret de canard, pizza and omelette) were very tasty, the accompanying salads were fresh, and the pommes de terre sautées with rosemary and garlic delicious.
