We stayed nearby at the Hilton and our dinner at Dim Sum Master was part of our splendid Christmas trip at Vancouver. My wife and I ordered their signature marinated goose platter and the presentation was out of this world. The service was extremely welcoming and friendly.
Amazing experience, loved the shrimp dumplings and 烧卖. Milk tea was tasty and not too sweet. Will be back!
Everything was terrible, this was the worst dim sum I've had in Vancouver. We had a greasy mushy drippy shrimp spring roll, bland beef balls fried in carnival batter, stale hard chewy shrimp and chicken wings, bland frozen dumplings. I saw a cockroach on the way to the bathroom and decided to leave immediately. I should have listened to my gut when we walked into the empty cavernous space and were greeted by someone without a mask who didn't seem to care about covid protocol. Bad vibes all around.
It's kind of an odd atmosphere for dim sum. This place was once a bar/club and the ceilings and bar have not been changed. Anyway I was craving dim sum so gave this a shot. Their xiao long bao was very disappointing, I think it was over steamed and the taste just made me nauseous. Spring rolls were good. But by the time I got to the siu mai and har gow couldn't eat anymore. Not sure what it was about it... the lady working there was really nice. We were the only one in the restaurant and food still took awhile to come.
