Ordered a large bowl of the House Special (comes with steak, tripe, and a few more meats) and was not at all disappointed. It came fast: fragrant and spicy, with just the right amount of noodles in perfect proportion to the flavourful broth. Perfect comfort food for those rainy, cooler autumn afternoons or evenings. Service was attentive and friendly, without being overbearing. Discovered it by accident; but would happily go again.
Pleasantly surprised!. We just got takeout from this neighbourhood restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised.<br/ <br/ I ordered #63: Lemongrass Chicken and Spring Roll with Vermicelli noodles. The chicken was very flavourful and so was the spring roll. The salad was simply some iceberg with some pickled carrot and radish, but I ate those up too.<br/ <br/ I got a small won ton soup on the side and it, too, was good. The broth was tasty and there were lots of vegetables throughout.<br/ <br/ My partner picked up a rare beef and meatball Pho, and enjoyed it just as much. <br/ <br/ All in all, pretty good and affordable. A great go-to for Vietnamese food in this neck of the woods!<br/ <br/ P.S. When I called for a menu, the lady explained they did not have a website or online menu but offered to fax it to me. How sweet!

GREAT VIETNAMESE FOOD!!!. First time trying Kim Express... GREAT PLACE. First of all, the location is easy to find, with free parking (always a bonus! . Upon entering the restaurant I was struck by how much they've done with the place. It's a small establishment, but the painting and decorations are classic, aesthetically pleasing and overall quite pretty! Their menu has a great deal of variety, I tried the lemon grass chicken with a spring roll (amazing spring rolls and rice... loved it. I would go again tomorrow! Prices are incredibly reasonable, particularly for the amount and quality of food. The service was friendly and timely, no complaints whatsoever. Also tried one of their milkshakes (they have milkshakes, bubble tea, and smoothies... yum yum yuM! Recommended to anyone who likes good Vietnamese food (my friends tried the Pho and it was the best they've had in a while! . GO!!!
Ate takeaway from here several times when camped out at the BC Children's. Very cheap and tasty. Certainly good value.
