Mink's is usually my go-to place for hot chocolate! I personally love the 70% cacao hot chocolate because I don’t like my beverages too sweet. I’ve had the 38% in the past and it’s just a tad bit overwhelming for me. The hot chocolate was silky smooth as usual and I finished every last drop. In addition to the hot chocolate, i’ve also had the opportunity to try a few of their ganache chocolate bars in the past. I haven’t encountered any that I didn’t absolutely love, but the Mermaid’s choice – Burnt Caramel and fleur de sel with a hint of rosemary and the Peace in Provence – French Lavender and Grand Marnier in Chocolate Ganache were by far my favourite.
Had some chocolate here when it first opened! Great quality, although very over priced! $9 for a chocolate bar... no thanks! Definitely planning to go back to enjoy the fondue!
The owner staff were awesome! We wanted something classy and chocolaty to add to our wedding favors, and this was it! Using the little delicious, melt in your mouth dark chocolate squares, we were able to create a cute little package that gained a lot of attention compliments during our wedding.
I am not a fan of chocolate, but I am always down for a new food experience. So when faced with the option to go to a chocolate cafe, I said yes to my guest. It was also a nice spot to wait out the drizzle of a wet Vancouver day, in comfort and warmth. Located facing a courtyard, making this an ideal spot for a quick treat in summer There was plenty of seating by it’s all window front. White lacquered tables and black chairs. Other than a few framed photo collages and a wall branded with their logo and font, the cafe was kept simple and clean.
