They live a stone 's throw from the restaurant and told me it 's one of their favorites. I can see why!! From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed in a setting that 's both trendy and comfortable at the same time. The staff was amazing; we had a few picky eaters at the table, and both the staff and the chef accommodated all of our requests with a smile. And the meal was one of the best I 've ever had. The adult grilled cheese plate was far more exquisite than its name implies. And try the crab stuffed peppers for a flavorful treat! We ordered lots of different plates, and we all loved every one of them. I heard the chef is French maybe that 's why the French onion soup was so good??!! Oh, and the desserts...I could go on for days about the caramel lover 's selection. Almost like a deconstructed Snickers bar on a plate. We savored every mouthful and fought over the last bite! Definitely check this place out. I don 't even live in the area and it was so good I had to write a review. Bring your friends. Make a night of it. You won 't be disappointed. It 's soooo worth the trip. P.S. I read Jessica 's review from July 2008. I don 't think O 's had the tapas menu then. There are lots of new plates to choose from in the 6 12 dollar range. Tons of bang for your buck and a great drink menu, too!
This was one of the first memorable dining experiences I had. The place is a bit pretentious for a little St. James bistro but the food is amazing. The only thing I really don’t like is that portions at these types of places are too small for the price they charge you. I know it’s supposed to be nice and fancy but if im paying $30 or more for a meal I want to leave full.
