Le Bistro Du Mata - Saint-Jean-de-Luz

Fantastic tapas bar and restaurant overlooking the beach at the end of a wonderful little campsite! Staff are young, super cheery and friendly, they went over and above to make my birthday special. I was very touched by a tasty complimentary treat complete with a candle. Exceptional service and the food was so tasty.

One of the best places I’ve ever been. Mostly because of the location, but also the very friendly staff makes a lot. I enjoyed several evenings there and I would return again, even if it’s 2000 km far from my home

This place has the perfect location to watch the sun go down, however the Staff whilst friendly are a little too interested in themselves having a laugh than serving clients, our first visit ended with us walking away as after 20 minutes waiting to be served we wandered off elsewhere, The views were tremendous and the food was not that special but OK
