We loved this restaurant. After reading some 'ho-hum' reviews, we expected something, but were more than happy surprised. the coworkers are attentive without being over the top. wein is right. for a couple who simply hate loud restaurants, we loved the way we could talk without feeling isolated while we comfortably watched the other diners.
A very interesting menu in a wonderful environment. it appeared suitable for groups or intimates eating. the staff was very attentive and on the available menu points and weep and very patient with those who had little command of the French language: very good...used this was one of the outstanding restaurants / meals during our one-month journey through the canada.
Stay in the hotel sepia, where the restaurant is located. it wasn't planned to eat, but it was pouring and we've been on the road for some time. So decided to take a chance and we're ever happy that we did. absolutely super eating and service. on the expensive side, but it is worth it. really extraordinary. highly recommended.
Happily surprised by this restaurant. We reserved a room and did not know where to eat. We drove for 3 hours and didn't feel like driving again into the old town so we decided to try the hotel Sepia's restaurant and were happily surprised by...the quality and service of this restaurant from beginning to end. We had the Plaisir 3 Table d'hôte. Hubby had the beef macreuse and me the Cornish hen. Both were delicious. Entree was a parsnip soup and dessert consisted in 5 choices. We took the panacotta and the blueberries sherbet. Both were sumptuous. We mentioned it was our wedding anniversary yesterday and they put sparkling candles on our desserts. Unexpected and thoroughly satisfied. Will come back when in Quebec City again.
