Second Cup Café - Saint John

Forget about all the other coffee chains! We've been disappointed by Starbucks lately, but our first visit to Second Cup here truly surpassed our expectations. The drinks were simply perfect!

I had a fantastic experience with the customer service at Second Cup, where I enjoyed the best pistachio lattes I've ever tasted at any coffee shop. The staff was exceptionally friendly and kindly prepared my latte for me after I made a mistake with my mobile order. I’m eagerly looking forward to returning and treating myself to more of their delicious pistachio offerings!

The coffee is outstanding, and there's an impressive variety on the menu. However, it could definitely use more seating. Given its connection to Indigo, it would be fantastic to have a larger area where customers can relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy a good book.

The staff at this restaurant are fantastic, but unfortunately, the management tells a different tale. I won’t be returning, and I’m quite disappointed. I used to really enjoy this place, but seeing how management treats both customers and their team has changed my views. I wish the staff could work in an environment where they feel valued. Lately, it seems that true appreciation is lacking in Saint John.

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and was genuinely impressed by its cleanliness and the charming assortment of furniture that suits any mood. The menu offers classic South Carolina dishes, all of which are delicious. I tried the Chai Tea Latte, which is currently my favorite hot drink, along with a gluten-free peanut butter treat. It was simply amazing! Our server, Merry (yes, like "Merry Christmas," as she cheerfully pointed out), was full of energy and added so much joy to our dining experience. She truly made the service exceptional! Overall, it was a fantastic experience that definitely deserves a 5-star rating!
