Bistro on the Boulevard - Saint Joseph

I had the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful weekend and sunset in St. Joseph, Michigan at The Boulevard Inn Bistro. While hotels were pricey over the weekend, I believe in working hard to play harder. This review is specifically about the restaurant located on the main floor of the hotel. Guests staying for the night receive a 10% discount. The patio was a major bonus, perfect for enjoying the fabulous weather. We decided to dine outside and order drinks. My mojito was just okay, but I understood that every place has its own recipe. For an appetizer, we tried the scallops which were delicious, although a bit too salty. For the main course, I ordered the lamb burger, my first time trying it. It was okay, however, I think I prefer a regular beef burger. The menu is extensive with many options to try, but I'll save that for next time!

I was pleasantly surprised by the food at this restaurant. There are plenty of vegetarian/vegan options to choose from as well. I highly recommend trying the hot honey cauliflower. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you receive. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a rating of 5.

If you are in St. Joseph, this restaurant is a must visit! I loved it! The service was excellent. We had dinner and spent about $30-$50 per person. The food was top-notch, I would rate it a 5 out of 5. The service was also a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere was great too, earning a 5 out of 5. I would highly recommend trying the Walleye, Bistro Tapas Plate, and Crab Dip.

Lovely atmosphere. We ate inside although outside was beautiful and an option. Bread service was phenomenal. Definately try the tomato jam! We asked the server for just the brown sugar candied pork belly and we received this wonderful, sweet, savory, and delectable piece of pork belly. We sighed heavy sigh after the first bite.
