Lots of frozen stuff just heated up. Prices were still okay for a place that's that touristic. What bothered me most was the service. We didn't get any menus. When asking for them our server went to get some. She didn't say anything, nor did she smiled. Once we had made our choice, it took her forever to come back to our table so we could place our order. After we ate, we asked for our check. Didn't get it. We asked again and finally got it after 15min while we were clearly waiting with our credit card already in hand. When asking if we could pay by card, we were told to go to the bar for that. We just saw someone pay by card a couple of tables away without any problem, but I guess it was suddenly impossible now. At the bar, I asked if we could pay, the girl behind the bar told me to wait and that she would be right there. So we are waiting but after she finished up an order of drinks, she continues going to wash some glasses, while we are still standing there waiting, ignoring us completely. After waiting for ten minutes and me asking another guy again (4th time), we finally could pay. Good for them, cause I was about to leave. In conclusion, instead of eating there just go down the mountain to the nearby village. Lots of better restaurants there.
Stopped here for lunch with some friends. Views are stunning but the food And facility's are a let down. Crepes like card board and pretty poor toilets. Coffee was good!
The restaurant serve good pastas at a soft price. After cycling the Mt Ventoux, it's a good stop for drinking and eating.
We drove up to the summit of Mont Ventoux watching the cyclists riding up the long and challenging trail. There are three routes onto the Mountain with various lengths and degree of incline. We found it intersting that as we drove to the summit the trees shrank in height and at the top there is only bare scree. The pedestrian walkways are identified with 8 foot poles for when deep snow lays at the summit.
1912 m an eclatating sun dining on the terrace. with a grandiose view. a simple and good meal. only pleasure. . we will come back
