Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Saint Louis

I went through the drive-thru, and the service was standard for fast food these days. When I asked for something extra at the window, the staff member was as helpful as she could be, which was a nice touch. Aside from that, nothing stood out; they didn't offer some of the items that other Dairy Queens typically have. I don’t visit this location often, and now I see why.

The lobby is closed, and the drive-thru can get really crowded... Ugh, I really dislike long lines at the drive-thru.

I truly enjoy Dairy Queen. Their Blizzards are consistently delicious and well-mixed. The burgers are fresh and crafted nicely. My top two DQ locations are in Granite City, Illinois, and on Hampton in South St. Louis. Not all locations measure up, though. I tried the one in Belleville, Illinois, and I won’t be returning there anytime soon. I ordered a mini Blizzard and a cheeseburger. The Blizzard was fantastic, but I have no idea what kind of meat they used in that cheeseburger—it definitely wasn’t real ground beef!

They're better than a lot of other restaurants. At least they make sure you get all of your order.

Note- the lobby is closed. When you place an order using the app you will need to park and use the walk up window to receive your order. I hadn’t eaten at a DQ in a very long time. Someone brought me an order of onion rings and I’ve been hooked since. These are possibly the best onion rings of any restaurant. They are perfectly crispy without being burnt. The perfect complement to your burger, which is also delicious. So, stop by a DQ and get yourself a burger, onion rings and definitely add a shake. For the love of all things tasty, get a shake!! I’m about that chocolate life but you do you.
