Joey B's Food Drink Concord

Before I tell you why I had only three stars, let me say I've been a fan of Joey B?s for years. I have visited all three locations over the years. But two nights in the same week with poor service and cold food is very disappointing and definitely not to their standards. A few nights ago, I brought Joey B?s a newcomer and her first experience was terrible. Not only did the waitress quite ignore us in the bar while she did her secondary tasks at 8:15, but she obviously left the food on the pickup area for a long time because it was hardly lukewarm when we got it. Tonight I brought another friend to sit at the bar. We ask the bartender for hot drinks and besides hot chocolate or coffee she had no suggestions yet she gave us a holiday drink menu. That was at 8:40. I found the Christmas drink menu on the table behind me. It took 15 minutes to come back and take our drinks order. She never checked us once.

Met at Joey B?s for drinks and a meal before an evening movie on July 4th. First of all glad they were open! Our server was Awesome! She was courteous, personable and very professional. The food did not disappoint either. Overall great experience. Definitely will go back!

The bartenders were disappointing. I ordered two drinks featuring premium whisky, but the first glass had lipstick stains, and the second had soap residue. The level of service was completely lacking. Having worked in the industry, I know how important it is to treat guests well, yet there was no apology or offer of replacement drinks, which prompted me to consider dining elsewhere. The overall atmosphere was unsatisfactory; the music was too loud, and the lighting was overly bright. I don't usually voice complaints, but I was hoping for a special experience, as I’m sure others would too.

This place doesn?t even deserve a one. I give them a zero. Worst service ever! I am here with my 85 year old mother who just wanted some salmon. I suggested this place, because I knew it was easy to drive to for her. She looked online to make sure they had salmon, which they did. The platter was $22.99. However when we got here the menu price was $26.99. I first very nicely asked the waitress about the discrepancy and she said there was nothing she could do about it. So I asked to speak to the manager. She came out along with another employee and attempted to prove to us that the menu we saw had not been updated and it was our fault that we looked at the wrong menu. So since my mom is 85 and I didn?t want her driving somewhere else we decided to stay, reluctantly. So we asked our waitress if we could order, we?ve already been here for 30 minutes and she said she was too busy to take our order. I have never had worse service in all of my life. I will never return to this horribly managed and rude place ever again. And I would make sure I tell everyone I know this place is the worst.

Every time we go we have no complaints! We usually get pizza, AWESOME! This time I got the Buffalo chicken salad and it was the best! Unfortunately they raised the drink prices but we?ll be back.
