La Bonne Bouchee Patisserie Cafe

I drove to Le Bonne Bouchee to pick up a fruitcake for my girlfriend's birthday. I arrived at 7:15 a.m. and hoped to grab a coffee and some breakfast, but the café section wasn't open yet, so I just browsed the pastries. I ordered a medium fruitcake, a chocolate croissant, and a small slice of gooey butter cake. The gooey butter cake was good, though not the moistest I've had. The chocolate croissant was huge and very flavorful. The fruitcake was excellent, featuring a beautiful almond-studded crust and a delightful filling. The staff were friendly and efficiently packaged all my pastries. I would definitely recommend this place!

We love the bakery, although we’ve never visited their café. In general, their baked goods are excellent, but it’s disappointing to see that an increasing number of their offerings come from external suppliers. I’m not a fan of having to navigate what feels like a back entrance through the café and winding through the maze just to reach the bakery section; it’s quite cramped around there. However, the staff have always been friendly and welcoming.

This restaurant is quite bustling on Sunday mornings, and they serve the breakfast menu until 11:45. However, there is still a great selection of delicious options available. To top it off, we received a complimentary piece of cake for our birthday child! The service was efficient and straightforward, without any unnecessary frills, yet the staff were friendly. The prices are very reasonable as well. I've decided to add this place to my list of go-to spots for small gatherings and family outings.

Picked up cake slices and Macaroons. Both are very good tasting. A lot of change. 4 begins instead of 5, because the staff saw that we waited and wipe the display further. There was only one person before us and we waited 10 minutes. There was also a long line behind us.

Pastries were delicious. The price was great! Our poor server had far too many tables and could not keep up with the coffee and other demands so, through no fault of her own we often sat waiting. Plus, the fruit cup was missing something; it wasn't missing honeydew though. The croissants, however, were so delicious that it will be worth another try.
