Most of my group really enjoyed it. My personal favorites were the Singapore noodles and the beef with potatoes. However, I wouldn't recommend the Taiwanese braised pork on rice, as it didn't taste authentic at all. The rib soup was too salty and lacked flavor, so I suggest skipping that, too. The Kung Pao chicken was decent, but it wasn't quite to my liking. The seating is limited, but it's extremely popular among local students.
The service here is sweet and wonderful, and the food is authentic, prepared with care by a family-owned local business. It's a great option for those looking for quick meals on a budget. The interior is charming and beautifully themed as well. If you're in the mood for some spice, they're happy to add hot ingredients like chile guajillo. Kid-friendly atmosphere: Generally attracts a young crowd. Dietary restrictions: They will customize dishes to suit your preferences.
The crab rangoons were excellent and the food was served piping hot. However, the chicken was tough, chewy, and stringy, which was quite disappointing. On a positive note, the service was friendly and prompt, even though it was nearly 9 PM on a weeknight. One downside was that there were no fortune cookies offered. As for parking, there is limited street parking available.
If you’re looking the best hole-in-the-wall place in all of Saint Louis for Chinese cuisine, this is it. You won’t be disappointed and they actually make their food spicy hereFood: 5/5
My daughter and I love this place and make a stop almost weekly. The food is so good and the woman who usually helps us is so nice.Food: 5/5
