The Grapple - Saint Maries

I tend to get a bit prickly when I hear people say that you can 't find good food in small towns, as that has almost never been my experience. My boyfriend, his brother, and I were hankering for a burger yesterday. My boyfriend mentioned Zips, but his brother and I wanted something different, so I jumped on Yelp and found The Grapple. It 's a quaint pub with a small, but solid, menu. We had our choice of bar or table seating, so we chose the bar. Service was friendly and timely, and the restaurant, including the restroom, was clean. I was waffling back and forth between a burger and a salad, but they were out of salad ingredients, so that settled the matter. My boyfriend and I split the Black Blue Burger, which was served with batter dipped fries. Everything about the burger was perfect. The batter on the fries gave them a nice crunch, but it needed much more seasoning. My only other gripe is that they only serve tea in a bottle. I 'm thinking a pub should serve tea on tap. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 thanks to good service, cleanliness, and that amazing burger.

Best place in Saint Maries to get food and local microbreweries beer! Always clean and welcoming atmosphere with multiple Televisions friendly service and dam good food! My go to place to grab a good meal and cold beer????

Tasty burgers, great brews and service and a nice atmosphere. Good to see a place like this in St Maries.
