Bk Tap Haus - Saint Michael

Good variety of food, decent bar, typically seem to be under staffed. New to community, have visited 3 times and most of the time it has been decent, not giving up yet but last time was challenging. Two of us sat at bar, waited 10+ minutes before we were recognized for drink order. Eventually ordered food and it took over an hour to get a couple sandwiches. We were told our timing was bad because we ordered behind a group of 25 and 40. Not sure what we did wrong specifically but we weren't pleased. One employee said our total bill would be comped, when the bill came it included all of drinks and no food. Staff clearly does not communicate amongst the front of the house team. Paid our bill with good tip. We have had pretty good luck, we will try it again. Live music is always amazing! Really pulling for this place to get it right...

We had a fantastic experience at BK Tap Haus! We ordered the wings and pitcher of beer special, choosing the dry rub with honey hot sauce on the side. The wings were delicious and I appreciated that they were served as whole legs and wings. Tanisha was our server and she did an excellent job despite serving the entire dining room and patio by herself. Her service was exceptional - she informed us of the specials and provided great recommendations. We would be more than happy to have her as our server again in the future!

Food was okay. Service was horrible. The manager had us move tables because we didn 't need as big of table . We were fine moving just didn 't appreciate how rude manager was and they way we were treated.

After moving out of the city, we have visited this restaurant four times. Our usual spots were Tattersall, Young Joni, BLVD, Red Cow, and CoV, so we had high hopes for BK. The first two visits did not impress us much, although the staff was excellent and the space was great. The beer and whiskey selections were solid, but the mixed drinks were not good. Despite this, we decided to give it a third chance and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious Reuben and homemade tater tots. However, the mixed drinks still fell short. On our fourth visit, we were excited to try the new menu and decided to stick to beer and whiskey. Unfortunately, the tater tots were no longer available, so we ordered the nachos which were cold, lacked toppings for the price, and took almost an hour to arrive. Other diners around us also had long wait times for their food. We believe this place has potential to be amazing if they focus on perfecting a few signature cocktails and improving the kitchen's performance. Just a few standout dishes could make all the difference. If they can get those right, we would become regular customers.

Amazing atmosphere, the staff and manager are all nice people. They have one of the largest selections of Bourbons and Whiskies in the Northwest region of the cities. They are also known for their Beer selection but, The food is always amazing, on Friday and Saturday evenings there's a live band. It's a usual spot for us to go. If you like Old Fashioned's, ask for the Carlson Old Fashioned, you won't be disappointed.
