He was direct, but very funny, and it was clearly enjoyed helping people have a good evening as long as they also respected the institution and those who work on it. Three of us had XL crabs, perfectly damped and seasoned, and the other one had a crab sandwich that was plump and fleshy, without excessive binder or filling. We tied up with the restaurant with Lou's help. Note that you do not stay tied overnight, so plan to anchor or secure a place at the marina.
Sighs. I had such high hopes because the atmosphere and the server were excellent. However, the crabs were advertised as large and fleshy were actually small and light. I brought this to the waitress? Attention and she really tried to help, but it wasn't pampering. So here is an honest review of a lady who celebrates a milestone birthday who loves crabs. The place was beautiful. The staff amazing (especially Misty). The crabs were terrible and that's not enough for me.
After a relaxed sailing cruise we ended in Crab Claw. This is the place for crab lovers. The atmosphere is very casual as you dine from picnic tables. Because of allergies, I can't eat crabs. However, I testify to the experience of surrounding tables. The staff puts out the paper table cloth and the moors dig for a crab festival. I had the Rock Fish and Chips, it was very good. My drink at the choice was the Crab Claw design on Hahn. It was very good. I recommend the Crab Claw when visiting historic St Michaels.
Good food at a reasonable price for a tourist trap. Service was slower than in recent years when the waitress had a table of friends or relatives in extensive conversations? The crab cake was really good, but not the best. The rock fish and chips were well prepared and presented, but I now know that I want to prefer it. There are a lot of outdoor seats right on the water with protection from the sun/rain, and probably some indoor seats, but I never tried. The ambience is old-fashioned crab coupling very simple. We always go there because right in front of the Maritime Museum and there are good parking spaces.
