Lovely pub/ hotel, good breakfast and friendly attentive staff. Only downsides were that 1. the bedroom faced the road and had only single glazing so was quite noisy. 2. Window paint work and bathroom grout needs a good clean. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 4

It was in the run up to Christmas and we booked a table for 6. The place was busy, food was served tepid, bland and not as described on the menu. Our deserts were returned by several of the party for being not acceptable. Not somewhere to go during December as they were not set up to cater on the evening we went there. Service: 2 Location: 5

We enjoyed a fabulous Christmas day meal at the Eaton Oak last Monday. My family and I have dined there before and the food was excepionally good the last time so it was no surprise that the festive fair was going to be good as well however they went above and beyond good. It was superb. The food and the service were excepional. I would thoroughly recommend eating here. The extensive menu is likely to please most palate's and I'm fairly certain that if you have specific dietary needs they would do their very best to accommodate you, because that is the sort of place it is and the staff go all out to please customers. Well done to all of you. Have a happy new year and I look forward to more visits to see you in 2024.. Food drinks: Absolutely top notch.
