I was able to sit out in the veranda with my mother looking over the village church yesterday, and ordered the food gras and ris to veau (veal sweat bread) for 22 Euro! I havent...seen ris de veau on a menu since my childhood holidays in Belgium: it was such a treat! Super friendly patrons gave us some of their wine and we started chatting about local wines with a retired winemaker!
Armed personnel, but the food was overrated. It tasted like cheap heated meals. Local wine was really good.
A wonderful surprise a modern restaurant overlooking the traditional village centre. Fair limited main menu, but good things to choose. Extensive and appealing taps/start menu. Welcome, very professional. Excellent!
Fancied try the fish and chips we were not disappointed cooked to perfection, not usually a mushy pea fan, but the divided pea flushing was delicious. Even white bread to make perfect chip butties. Very welcoming hosts we will definitely return regularly, can... highly recommend. Great value for money 3 course table and chip menu on Fridays well washed out 18 euros with the local village rose. Thank you, Michèle and Michel.
Very warm welcome - delicious meals - beautiful setting - thank you for the evening. the cousins of St. Stephen
