The staff proficiently switched to English when they realized our French was limited, but they were also very patient and accommodating when I tried to practice my French. The food was great and the service was excellent!
If you are looking for something different, but delicious, this is the place to go! We stopped in by chance and were not disappointed! They have a very unique menu which is basically all made on site. The prices were reasonable, and they had delicious local craft beer, 5/5!
We stopped by this restaurant for lunch. It is right off the local highway on the eastern approach to Kamouraska. The building is renovated, modern and chic. During warm weather, there is an outdoor dining option. The menu had several creative dishes. I chose the sturgeon cake sandwich. All the food was fresh and home made. The portions were large and each sandwich was accompanied by a bucket of french fries. The sandwiches were artfully constructed giving us the impression that the chef is really a master. Lunches began at $15.00. We left stuffed and satisfied.
The town of Kamouraska is a fantastic location with plenty to see and do. If you want an authentic poutine experience, you must visit this restaurant. However, their menu offers more than just poutine - be sure to try some of their other dishes and locally brewed beer. Overall, it’s a great place to visit.
This upscale snack bar offers superb, high-quality dishes made with premium ingredients. The service is top-notch. I tried the sturgeon burger with outstanding French fries - it was a standout! Definitely a great discovery.
