Egg And I - Saint Paul

We were introduced to egg and a few years ago when our son and our family brought us there several times during our visit here from omaha. we moved here in 2020 and have eaten some paints there. it has always been excellent. eating is excellent and the people who serve them are always very friendly and helpful. this morning was so. eating was fantastic, and our server alexandra was more than just excellent. it was our joy to talk to her for a moment. it is typical for server at egg and i.e. the restaurant knows very well how to serve the right people and has shown each time when we eat there! many thanks for the way they treat their customers every time. please pass this to the server and food processors. we are never disappointed and want to come again and again!

Yummy food consistently made. Wonderful servers! Bright, airy, open, high ceiling and wall of big windows. You choose table or booth. Good coffee and servers are great at bringing around coffee pots for refills. Patio in late spring, summer, and fall.

The Egg I St. Paul, what can I say? GREAT! ALWAYS! I've lived next door for about 15 years. I visit somewhat frequently. For mostly breakfast foods, but also lunch stuff. Always, it's a great meal.If you order something hot it comes out hot, and quick. If you order something not hot, it also comes out quick. And consistently, the food is delicious. And a great value. I mean, I can walk there, have breakfast/lunch and walk home and be gone only 30 minutes. You can't use the excuse well the kitchen was backed up, so I'm late coming back The staff is friendly, accommodating, remembers you and your peculiar orders. Many people probably don't even it's there, right on University Ave, just west of Highway 280. Even if it's not next door, you need to go there.

My best friend and I have been coming to Egg I for years, we used to go to the one on lyndale before it was shut down and it was our absolute favorite breakfast spot. We always had exceptional service there and they knew our faces the moment we walked in. I am sad to say the experience at Egg I off University is hardly the same. We were sat in a booth against a wall and the woman “serving” hardly talked to us. She took our order from behind the wall instead of coming around to the table, she ignored us the entire time and was just rude and short with us. She then proceeded to stand at the table behind us and talked and laughed with them very loud so much so that it was obvious her rudeness was intentional. This is the not the first time our experience didn’t match the lyndale Egg I location.Every time we have come in to the one off university something has gone wrong. The service just isn’t the same. I am very disappointed, we will not be returning to Egg I.

Everything tasted amazing and made me fall in love with hollandaise sauce for the rest of my life! I also love how casual it is and is a great place I would bring my friends with next time. The service was also wonderful and kind! Would definitely recommend stopping by if y’all can
