Chef Kevin truly knows how to deliver soulful flavors with passion and care. I highly recommend the Beef Steak Entrée, the Jerk Chicken, the wings drenched in East Coast Sticky Sauce, the Mac 'n Cheese, and the Greens. Don't miss out on any of the desserts—they're all fantastic! Kevin ensures you'll leave with a smile and craving more the very next day. Plus, it's incredibly affordable. For those who are familiar with Tahtianna Soul Food, you'll recognize that this is the same chef and his beloved recipes! Be sure to check it out, everyone!

I enjoyed the chicken—it was absolutely delicious! The mac and cheese was fantastic, with a delightful flavor that wasn't overpowering. The rice and beans were incredible; I could eat them all day. The beef ribs had a wonderful glaze; it's refreshing because many other places just slather BBQ sauce on their ribs, which often tastes awful. Not here! The sauce is sticky, sweet, and tangy. The sweet potatoes were also excellent. Everything was great! I'm looking forward to trying the grain bread in the future. I love hearty grain bread and will update my review once I do.

Had the Ruck Chicken, Yams and collared greens (plus a free sticky chicken). The chicken was falling and everything on my plate was perfectly seasoned, which is a big thing. Price was great for quantity and quality and the interior was beautifully designed. Kevin and crew were very friendly and super courtesy. Great experience, will eat again for Turkish coffee and more southern comfort!

I was in town for a few days and this place is sooo good. I got the chicken wings, Mac n cheese, green beans, catfish and peach cobbler I was hungry lol but this food is truly made with love. And the owner is so nice and welcoming I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves soul food and home cooking this reminded me of my moms food. 10 out of 10. Prices are reasonable and food is delicious.

Home-cooked food was delicious! The offerings were diverse, melt-in--your-mouth tender, and very flavorful. The chef and manager were enthusiastic, kind and very personable. And the prices are hard to beat. Open for just a week, this was a delightful find, and one I would seek out on return trips to St. Paul.
