They're still very pleasant though. The ambiance is inviting but does feel like a fast eat-and-go place. Spacious and bright dining area. Clean but very cold single stalled (men/women) restroom.1. Onion rings $4Definitely not freshly battered but frozen. Good flavoring and good size for uts price.2. Sampler (Tue-Thurs only deal) $32.99: 15 deshelled shrimp, 5 shelled shrimp, 1 sausage, 5 green mussels, 5 crawfish, 2 potatoes, 1 egg and 2 half corns. sauce: House Mix, super hot spice level Delicious and not overcooked. House Mix sauce is flavorful with perfect acidity. It's not overly rich like the King Cajun Mix. Old sampler is no longer valid (had cluster of crab legs)3. Special meal 2 $37.99: 1 cluster of crab leg, 1/2 lb peeled shrimp, 1 BEEF sausage, 1 egg, 2 corns and 2 potatoes Includes 1 can of sodaKid-friendliness: Spacious and good for familiesParking: Parking lot is shared with strip mall tenantsWheelchair accessibility: Easy access in and out of restaurant but manual door handling
Visited King Cajun on a Friday afternoon, it wasn't busy at all. You go in and order/ pay for your food at the counter before taking a seat. We had the special meal 3 (cluster or crabs, mussels, sausage, potatoes, and boiled eggs along with a pound of peeled shrimp with the king cajun (everything mixed) sauce. The food was delicious. The sauce is awesome, we had to order an extra side of it to dip. There was enough that we had leftovers to pack. Service was friendly. Bathroom was clean. There is street parking available as well as a parking lot to the side of the building. Overall really great first experience and I'd definitely go back.
Gotta say one of the best service I've received at any restaurant! Everyone working there were super attentive, respectful, professional. Top if off with the best Cajun food our family has ever had. Totally worth it!Thanks for having us! ๑•᎑•๑ We got the special combo!
This Cajun-style seafood restaurant in Saint Paul is an absolute delight!Food: 10/10The boiling seafood with chef special sauce is a perfect match for the green mussels, lobster, and King crab—high-quality and delicious seafood. Although the prices are a bit on the higher side, it's worth it for such fantastic seafood in the Midwest. The Lobster fries are a must-try—crunchy fries with creamy and tasty lobster sauce, and real lobster. The Lobster fried rice and Crab fried rice are both so good, I can't decide which one I prefer.Vietnamese dishes are also a lovely addition to the menu. Goi Muc and Goi Tom are refreshing and yummy, and the Crab with tamarind sauce is my favorite traditional seafood dish, with the perfect balance of sour and sweet. The snails are okay, but not my favorite. The space is spacious and clean, perfect for a seafood place. If you're coming with a big group (more than 6 people), it's best to call ahead for a table, as the place gets crowded on weekends. The service is friendly and quite fast, making the dining experience even better. However, I did notice that they recently reduced the quantity of lobster in the Lobster fried rice. Despite that, this restaurant remains a top-notch seafood spot that I highly recommend.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would Delicious food ,clean, Nice services,Food: 5/5
