Perkins Bakery - Saint Paul

Food was so good, service was attentive and accurate. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Other Perkins have begun to reduce quality and service in recent years, but this site has a high level that was a pleasant surprise.

Traci front and Hostess were nice and did their job well. Pies looked great and the food was delicious. Our server was a rude young man. Very unhappy with his service.... I've always been a sigh and I'm not amused.... My family came the day before and said the waitress she had with the purple hair was amazing. But very frustrating experience.

The service was almost too good. Please bring me a cup of coffee and give me a while. Has gone to get my order, but I was just not ready and felt like I was torn along. Orders, food came hot a little out of order, but no big deal. The new waiter was pretty good. Good breakfast. Get a raspberry sour cream muffin to go.

They offer a hearty meal and reasonable prices. I had the combo, the 3 eggs every style, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, sausage link divided in half, home-style potato (extremely delicious) and pancakes. I asked them if I could replace French toast and they gave me two whole slices of French toast. The French toast was cooked to perfection, slightly seasoned with electricity sugar and butter on the side if you so wish. The potatoes and the French toast made the food. Very large milk and orange juice. Service was friendly and food was fast. Restaurant was short staff, but you never had to wait long for a servicer. Account came to $22.05 including taxes. Wonderful value for the large pots, especially the beverage sizes. I couldn't finish my meal. Only disappointment was the regular sausage not for the taste, but that could have been an annoying effect of catching Covid and losing taste for a few months. Objects I use to like taste. Of course, the ingredients have changed. But a great value with great drinking, friendly service, clean food experience and cost-effective. I would recommend the French toast and the house style fries.

The food was good. The service was ok, but the server kept forgetting things and had to be reminded multiple times.
