Feedback gevenThe food at this restaurant is top-notch. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because they are still operating under COVID restrictions. As a safety measure, they have a physical barrier set up right inside the front door to limit personal contact. To communicate with the staff upon arrival, you will need to use a camera and speaker. You are required to pay when placing your order over the phone or online, and then pick up your food when you arrive. I highly recommend calling in advance to place your order so you can avoid having to wait outside or in your car for your food.
I ordered from Doordash and got the kung pao chicken (a bit spicier than expected but delicious), steamed dumplings (twice the size of my usual spot), shrimp fried rice, and teriyaki chicken (similar to what I make at home). The portions are bigger and more flavorful than my usual spot. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely reorder and recommend South China Island Inn II. They have gained a new loyal customer and I'm happy I discovered them!
I have been dining at this restaurant for many years and have never had a bad meal, until today. Unfortunately, the food I ordered was all subpar.
This was my first time at the Food @South China Inn this place takes only orders on the line. I used Post Mates to order my food, it was the first time with the app. I have my food hot fresh delicious.
